Three New York City police officers are in a poised state after being mindlessly attacked by a machete-wielding man near Times Square. According to NYPD Commander

The attack took place after 10 p.m. Saturday at West 52nd Street and 8th Avenue, outside Times Square’s New Year’s Eve security checkpoint, Commissioner Keechant Sewell said.
