SBPAC asks for details on clearing pending containers

KARACHI: The Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has searched for details of imported containers stuck at the port, ARY News reported on Friday.

The development came following a meeting with Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Jameel Ahmed at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).

The Karachi Chamber of Commerce has requested members of the business and industry community to provide all necessary details to KCCI through an online form. Statement issued by the Chamber of Commerce

According to the statement issued All data gathered will later be forwarded to the SBP so that stranded containers can be released as quickly as possible.
