Gasoline, diesel prices remain unchanged until January 31

Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday announced that gasoline and diesel prices will remain unchanged for the remainder of January, ARY News reported.

In a televised address, Dar said, “The government has decided to hold the price of petroleum products for another 15 days.”

The next price correction will be made on January 31, he added.

So petrol will be sold at Rs.214.80 per liter, high speed diesel at Rs.227.80 per liter, kerosene at Rs.171.01 per liter and light diesel at Rs.169 per liter.

It is necessary to mention here that the coalition government on 15 December decided to cut the price of petrol by 10 rupees and diesel by 7.5 rupees respectively.
