Dubai Cares Partners With COP28 UAE President
The Chairs of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Dubai Cares have agreed to partner in the COP28 Outcome Climate Study Series, which will be held. at Expo City Dubai from 30 November to 12 December 2023.
In particular, Dubai Cares will host the 2nd RewirEd Summit, a global educational collaboration platform. in conjunction with the World Climate Summit With a focus on climate education and action this year.
Dubai Cares will lead a global preparation process now through the Summit to mobilize both public and private sector actors on policy. financing and new technology results Both of which help learners achieve a net-zero economy. and increasing accessibility and flexibility in the education sector.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of the 2023 World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos. in Switzerland, with H.E. Amb Majid Al Suwaidi, Director General of COP28, and H.E. Dr. Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Dubai Cares.
Recognizing the importance of climate integration and education as key drivers for a sustainable and prosperous future, Dubai Cares, the civil society organization officially associated with the United Nations Ministry of Global Communications, It will support COP28 efforts by meeting climate and education stakeholders from across the country. the world to unite efforts towards a common vision
